TICKLED PINK
Huge increases in the demand for pink riding gear have given an unexpected boost to our production facility. Young girls following the trend set by the likes of Jordan (Katie Price) insist on everything being pink, including their riding gear, tacks boxes, saddles and shovels. So, following increased demand from Equestrian suppliers and riding stables, for pink accessories, we decided to take up the challenge and brought out a pink tack box m719 and a range of colourful one piece plastic shovels in pink, lilac, and mauve, products that would add a splash of colour to any riding stables.

Battery recycling bin for a better environment
Research shows that the average household uses 21 batteries per year and that around 600m UK batteries are sent to landfill every year. The EU Batteries Directive requires that 25% by weight of portable (household) batteries placed on the market each year are collected for recycling by 2012, rising to 45% in 2016. This is a very challenging target. The current collection rate in the UK is estimated to be around 2.3%. Any high street or online retailer selling more than 32kg of batteries a year, the equivalent of one pack of 4 AA batteries a day, will have to provide recycling bins or facilities.
